Actor Lee Kyu-sung will appear in “Joseon Lawyer” and work with Woo Do-hwan.
The agency Frein TPC said on the 7th that Lee Kyu-sung will appear in MBC’s new Friday and Saturday drama “Chosun Lawyer.”
“Joseon Lawyer” is a drama based on a webtoon of the same name and tells the story of an outsider (lawyer) who avenges the enemy who killed his parents by trial. It was a lawsuit initiated for revenge, but it will tell the story of growing into a hero and a real lawyer for the people as it gradually takes care of the people. In particular, unlike historical dramas, it raises expectations in that it deals with the story of a lawyer.
Lee Kyu-sung plays the role of “Dongchi,” the only one Kang Han-soo (Woo Do-hwan) trusts and relies on. In the play, Dongchi is a character who has built a strong friendship with Kang Han-soo enough to be considered a family member, and has a pure love for only Han Soo’s sister (Han So-eun) for a long time.
Lee Kyu-sung, who made a strong impression by expressing the gap between ordinary neighborhood residents and serial killers in the drama “When the Camellia Blooms,” later appeared in various dramas such as “Youth of May,” “Ryu Sun-bi’s Wedding Ceremony,” “8 Years of School Story,” “Ground Zero,” “Voice” and “Not Out.”
In particular, the recent drama “Why Oh Soo-jae” drew attention by pleasantly portraying the role of Cho So-chil, who is full of affection and loyalty. Lee Kyu-sung transformed into a serious troubleshooter and played as a central figure in the play to solve the false charge of Oh Soo-jae, played by Seo Hyun-jin, and showed excellent acting skills by noticing and expressing details.
As such, “Chosun Lawyer,” starring Lee Kyu-sung, who shows a strong presence with live acting in each work, is scheduled to air in March.
