Jung Moon-sung said, “The age difference between Kim Yu-jung and 18 years, has never been a problem” (‘Shakespeare in Love’)
Actor Jung Moon-sung mentioned the age difference with Kim Yoo-jung, who works together in the play “Shakespeare in Love.”
On the afternoon of the 7th, a press conference for the play “Shakespeare in Love” was held at CJ Towol Theater in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Producer Song Hanssem, actors Jung Moon-sung, Lee Sang-yi, Kim Sung-chul, Jung So-min, Chae Soo-bin, Kim Yoo-jung, Song Young-kyu, and Lim Hyung-chul attended the meeting.
Shakespeare in Love is based on a movie of the same name released in 1998, and starts with the pleasant imagination that Romeo and Juliet was born with the love of William Shakespeare.
Jung Moon-sung, Lee Sang-yi, and Kim Sung-chul play Will Shakespeare, a new writer who wants to regain his lost artistic inspiration and talent through the 16th century London, Muse.
On this day, Jung Moon-sung said, “I enjoyed the movie and enjoyed reading the script. I was excited to do a play as a good work after a long time. I worked hard throughout the practice. The performance is also fun. I’m happy and grateful,” he said.
Regarding the 18-year-old difference with Kim Yu-jung, Jung Moon-sung said, “We are actors. It’s the same in the practice room, and from the stage, Yoo-jung doesn’t look like one young person,” he said.
“It seems to me that he is a great actor who plays Viola. I also tried to look like William Shakespeare, so I hope it looks like that to Yoojung. “There has never been a problem exchanging hearts while performing,” he added.
Kim Yoo-jung said, “I also personally thought it was an honor to be with actor Jung Moon-sung. I didn’t feel the age difference when I was on stage, in the practice room, or when I was breathing. We are still relying on each other a lot on stage. “It’s not a problem,” he added.
Meanwhile, Shakespeare in Love will be performed at CJ Towol Theater in Seoul Arts Center on March 26.
