Praise to the British media Son Heung-min who led the unbeaten march
Son Heung-min (29) shined the most in Tottenham Hotspur.
The British media “Guardian” praised on the 20th (Korea Standard Time), “Tottenham was able to take points with Son Heung-min’s dramatic equalizer,” adding, “Son Heung-min is the most brilliant player in Tottenham today.”
Tottenham drew 2-2 at home against Liverpool in the 18th round of the English Premier League in the 2021-22 season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.
Son Heung-min saved Tottenham. In the 13th minute of the first half, Harry Kane scored a 1-0 lead in about two months, but was soon dragged away by giving up additional goals in the 35th minute of the first half and the 24th minute of the second half, respectively. The equalizer was scored by Son Heung-min in the 29th minute of the second half. Goalkeeper Alisson Becker (29) pushed the ball with his left foot and shook the net.
Son Heung-min wore a Tottenham uniform and scored his seventh goal in the league and three consecutive games in his 300th game. Although he played in the actual game in about two weeks due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the team, he scored and showed off his robustness.
As a result, Son Heung-min is racing with a fierce momentum, scoring in all games he played in December. Starting with a league match against Brentford on the 3rd, he also scored against Norwich and Liverpool. In the aftermath of COVID-19, he was ranked fifth in the league with Cristiano Ronaldo (36, Manchester United) and Sadio Mane (29, Liverpool) even after playing about three to four games less than his competitors.
With Son Heung-min’s performance, Tottenham has continued its unbeaten streak in five league games (3 wins and 2 draws) since Antonio Conte (52) took office. He added one point to maintain his seventh place (26 points) with a draw.
